A win is a win and I'll take it

Yeah, know what you mean. "Boys" dominated stat wise and very well could have still lost but I'll take it too. Winning ugly is still winning.

Giants coming on strong.

Just noticed that Pats play the entire NFC East division this year.

Hoping...

..the Redskins pull the upset...like to see the Pats juggernaut slowed. (Yep,if it serves a greater good I will pull for the 'Skins)

Go Burgundy! Go Gold!

Foxboro. Skins will hold New England to their fewest points all season but too banged up to make noise offensively. 24-10 Pats.

If NE only scores 24 it will be because the man is having a bad day Pimp and the skins defense will last week, NE 124 points backup qb will be playing in the thrid quarter Yeah Norm go Boys

I don't mean to just skip past your post Kdawg but I am not a horse racing fan and don't know jack squat about it.

What I would like to know is what credentials or authority it takes to make a tv or radio analyst an "expert." From the guys on ESPN to your local radio sports talk show host, I don't think hardly any of them should qualify as experts. I would even argue that they don't know as much as the average super fan.

A case in point is all the recent talk of the Bengal's Chad Johnson. Some of these so-called experts have even suggested the Bengals would be better off trading him. What??? Are you kidding me? Tell me these idiots aren't serious. The Benagls, bad as they are, would be even worse without Chad Johnson. He's one of the most dependable and productive receivers in the league. Don't give me this Ocho Psycho crap either. He may be a little brazen and outspoken but without him the Bengals would be as bad offensively as they are defensively. Plus his flamboyant play puts asses in the seat. Take him off the Bengals and you take half the fans out of the stadium.

Now I don't like his antics and prefer he'd just hand the ball to the official after a td. I like the old Dave Casper way; score and quietly give the ball to the ref and go about your business. Like my old coach used to say "Act like you've been there before." I mean after all that's what you're expected to do if you execute (and it's just as much a result of 10 other guys as it is the one who scores) so I don;t like the singled-out, individualistic approach of touchdown celebrations.

But make no mistake you so-called experts (really overpaid, opinionated morons)......the Bengals would be far worse off without #85!!!!

I don't think the skins will score much against the Pats. If Wash is #1 on D than the Pats have to be in the top 3 themselves. Wash may keep the Pats low for three quarters but you can't keep all those great receivers down all day.

If Minny had had a QB Sunday the "Boys" would have lost for sure. He only completed 5 passes and the way to beat the "Boys" is with the pass. Cowboys better get it together. I can see the difference between them and the Pats. Its all attitude. I have never seen a team as focused as the Pats have been this year. They go in, do their job and leave. Its scary and I still say we just may be seeing a team for the ages right here.

We will certainly know more after this week. If Brady throws another 3 or 4 TD's and they win real big against this somewhat better than average defense, then Indy will have to be a bunch of nervous Nellie's.

The Pats defense is very good also (6th) and Washington struggles to score which is why I see a 24-10 Patriot victory. If we could play above and beyond than we have thus far offensively we'd have a legitimate chance. Especially if we catch NE looking ahead to the Colts (unlikely).

I cannot believe the Vikings starting qb is Tavarias Jackson. You meant to tell me, in the nfl, that's the best available? It's a shame the Vikes, with that running game and defense, are that hamstrung at qb.

New England Sports

It sure is a good time to be a sports fan in New England these days what with a resurrected Boston Celtics almost sure to make the playoffs finally, plus the Boston Red Sox, New England Patriots, Boston College and the Dallas Cowboys.

Pimp, did you see this article on ESPN. Kind of interesting for one man's opinion.

I will go read it now. I did read this morning that Jerry Jones said no European trips for the Cowboys. I'd like to know what makes him think he has the power to say no if Goodell says go?

Redskins Home Field

It's not really located in what we call Southern Maryland...but just inside the Beltway, East of the District.

Rahljon...That was a name that was briefly used..but apparently not officially adapted by the US post office. It was named for the sons of the late Redskin's owner Jack Kent Cook. When Snyder bought the team I suppose the name was dropped.

Sorry to hear about the horse that had to be put down yesterday, Kdawg.

Good thing they don't do that to dogs or the Cowboys wouldn't even have a cheerleading squad! ;)

Well Norm Looks like NE didn't even play a fucking game this weekend, who was they played Iowa shit man did you see the score 52 to 7 hell they gave them the 7 in the 4th just to be nice and not shut them out. Its a damn good thing they didn't play the Boys again or they would of got beat or at least wouldn't scored 52 point and held to seven you ever see such a sick ga me and someone said that Iowa was going to be on the top in the Eastern Division. Someone called the cowgirls dogs to ,shit it look like them red skin cheerleaders better start screwing the teams there playing and wear them down before they have to play them. Well Norm the Giants won knocking on the boys door 6 and 2. I'll let you go but did the Redskins play today? GO COWBOYS

I said it before. We could be watching the team of the ages this year. They are unstoppable on "O" and the "D" ain't too shabby neither.

Last year the Pats and Colts were very even. The Colts stayed the same but the Pats got much better. Next week should be a humdinger. Then the Pats get a bye week then play their last seven games against only so so teams except for Pitts. They are focused like no other team I have ever seen. That spygate thing put a chip on their shoulders and they are out to kill every team they play.

I knew Wash couldn't score but I thought the Pats would wear them down before scoring a bunch of points in the last quarter. Brady never really tested the vaunted Wash secondary.

I'm man enough to eat some crow when there's a full plate of it in front of me. But, in my defense, I didn't know the Redskins would be without 2 of their top 3 cornerbacks and a linebacker. Still, it likely wouldn't have made any difference. Not when you give a team like New England 24 points off of turnovers. I think Bellechick did the Skins a small favor in running up the score or at least I hope he did; with any luck the Redskins will take this humiliation and play angry for a few weeks. At least we have the Jets next week. And I still say the Skins will make the playoffs and challenge for the division title.
