Is Biden in cognitive decline

Non US voter but someone who watches the election coverage with interest & a great deal of puzzlement. As an outsider, I struggle to understand how either candidate is their party's first choice. Good luck!
American exceptionalism sadly looking like a thing of the past. We have great, young thinkers but they want no part of the politics of personal destruction.

Then again, Rishi vs Keir is hardly an inspiring choice across the pond. Sir David Cameron is smarter than the rest of the sad lot but he paid the price for telling the truth about Brexit. And now Nigel Farage is running for Parliament, the Pom Trump.

Watch videos of him and he's had what I'm almost certain were petit mal seizures in public. He's not a well man.

Who thinks Joe Biden is in cognitive decline, or worse, in the beginning stages of dementia? Should this/will this effect your vote for him?
Not any worse than Trump. In fact, I think Trump is worse. Slurring words, Nikki Haley in charge of security on 9/11, and a hundred other gaffs. Biden surrounds himself with better people so if anything happens we’ll be ok. Trump’s staff all all in jail or facing jail. A huge difference. I also love democracy, the constitution, and democracy. Easiest vote for me in my lifetime.

harris is "better people"? mayorkas is better people". garland is "better people"?

please don't misunderstand me. i am not a trump supporter nor am i a trump apologist. and i am old enough to remember the day when people actually liked the candidates that rose up from the 300+ million citizens to run for the highest office in the country. but now? the last 3 elections (at least) have offered us the most unlikable candidates

and i would defend with my life your right to form and voice your opinions on any issues ... even if i were to vehemently disagree with your opinion.

and i am afraid that things will get worse before they get better. i will be long gone before we turn that corner.

Indeed how far we have fallen from the days of Obama vs McCain, two excellent choices.

While I certainly agree that Biden/Harris is a pathetic duo, at least they will govern within the Constitutional framework that actually made America great to begin with. Orange Jesus says openly he wants to become a dictator by doing away with all those pesky checks and balances. He wants to rule unfettered like his mentor Bad Vlad does in the Kremlin.

The newest Fox news poll shows Trump support has atrophied since his convictions on 34 felonies and he is now down 2 points (and their polling always trends to the right). The megadonors and tabloids are doubling down in desperation trying to shore up confidence.

AG Garland is EXCELLENT. I wish he'd indict Trump for high treason but lets not make the perfect the enemy of the good.

Mayorkis is a scapegoat for the loose border policy. The recent about face resulting in the Executive Order suspending asylum processesing was 3 years late but was VERY smart and has vitiated much of the Dems disadvantage over immigration. The more AOC and the amnesty lobby complains the more moderate voters switch to holding their noses and voting Biden/Harris (as I will do a second time).

i appreciate and respect your points of view, and i thank you for sharing.

i was ashamed when the republicans effectively boycotted the senate vote on garland for the supreme court, and that was one of the reasons that i changed my registration to independent after almost 50 years as a registered republican...although during that time, i cast a number of votes for democratic candidates.

but after watching garland conduct himself as AG .... after practicing law for 40 years and having the highest regard for the rule of law ... frankly i find myself these days being thankful that he was not appointed to the supreme court.

i realize that is just my view and might not be a majority view.

anyway...i pray for what is best for the country. just not really sure what that is, given the choices.:(

and by the way .... i enjoy our exchange. different points of view without insults, threats, etc.

Fuck the election think about the 4 years after that when the reality of paying for the 10 million illegals hits you the price of gas already up $3/gal in the last 3 years and groceries up 35%, anybody that votes for biden deserves anything that happens to them
In 4 years, even 2 years, he’ll be like that poor fuck Captain Pike on the original Star Trek series.

Where have you been? Biden surrounding himself with that VP, a border czar, she has never even been there
How can support Trump? Do you remember what the country was like when he left in 2020? High unemployment and the country in a shutdown. How we responded to Covid was on him because he said it was like the flu and would magically disappear with the return of warm weather. Instead hundreds of thousands died. He added $7 trillion to the debt after saying he would eliminate the debt in his first term. He inherited 72 straight months of job creation from Obama. Kind of goes along with his 6 bankruptcies.

Biden has engineered the longest period of unemployment under 4% in over 50 years. In 3 1/2 years 16 million jobs have been created and thousands of manufacturing jobs have returned. The infrastructure bills have provide badly needed investment in bridges, roads, airports, etc. He is tackling big pharma's gouging of Americans and is negotiating specific drug costs for Medicare including a cap on insulin. He is addressing climate change.

What can you name that Trump did in his four years other than cut taxes for the top 1%. You must be proud to be a member of the Trump cult and conned by the ultimate con man. How can you reconcile that only 3 of the over 40 people working in his administration and cabinet have endorsed him? "His generals," who were cabinet members said he was crazier than hell.

Have you even been paying attention?

Democratic operatives bought & paid for everything from dirty dossiers to getting Covid ferried in. If you had anyone you know or care about die as result of Covid, their blood is on these criminals hands. By the way, since you don’t or can’t pay attention, up until the second biden was sworn in after he was installed as president, all your democrats were screaming, “don’t take the shot”, as soon as joey & the barely functioning simpleton VP were sworn in, it was “ shots, shots for anyone & everyone “. I couldn’t make this up.

You are watching too much Fox News. How can you be so badly misled. You support the most corrupt, criminal ever to be near the White House. Five kids with three wives while paying a porn star hush money. Directing an insurrection of “tourists’” paying a settlement for sexual assault. You must be proud to support such a great model for our American citizens. Republicans claim to be for law and order but support a convicting felons with more trials ahead. It’s Biden right? You do realize a grand jury said there was enough evidence to indict Trump on 91 felonies and convicted on a unanimous decision by a jury of his peers. Get a clue!

I no longer need try to engage in somewhat intelligent conversations with a clown such as yourself. Here’s your homework assignment, think about everybody you know who died of Covid, think about who was responsible for it. Now go away and find someone who wants to have anything to do with you.

Everything I posted above can be substantiated. One just has to be smart enough to do research. Trump is scum of the earth. He did away with the pandemic readiness team. He called it the flu and said it would magically disappear. It must be miserable being you and being so unable to discern facts from fiction. You conspiracy bs will be proven by history as will the accomplishments of Trump vs. Biden. Now continue to worship a convicted felon and sexual assault scum. I have plenty that socialize with me. Plenty of friends. Do you? Can any of them read? lol

You’re right, I’m not smart enough. Thank you for opening my eyes. I don’t know what I would do without your intelligence. I am so fortunate to have made contact with you, on this site in particular, especially since this site is specifically geared towards having, watching, wanting wives to be fucked by others.

GBH I thank you as well Sir for an adult discussion sans ad hominems; sadly the Trump minions are incapable of actually discussing meaningful issues without resorting to namecalling and slander. I respect those who can debate the issues, the socratic method you and I learned in law school. I view the Trump apologists as untermenschen, subhuman. I respect patriots and conservatives but the Trump minions are neither.

Like you, I have practiced law for 37 years (to your 40) and so have a better understanding of politics than most non legal eagles.

What it is about AG Garland that you find objectionable? Perhaps I've missed something and am willing to be enlightened.

Surely its not the Fox trope about "weaponization" of the justice department. You know that it complete garbage.

Compared to the three Trump appointees who are a disgrace in every way, I think he'd have been a fine justice, Then there are the ethically dubious Thomas and Alito who have brought the court into disrepute flagrantly violating the Canon of Judiicial Ethics prohibiting the "appearance of impropriety".

Justice Roberts is the kind of justice we need, not an ideologue.

I've always been a GDI and always will be loathing party politics. I've said it since my first vote for John Anderson in 1980, the two party system is broken. While I usually vote for Democrats, that is because they are closer to the center where the moderate majority lies. When the GOP had moderates like Bob Dole and McCain running the show, I agreed with much of their platform. Since Putin and Trump took over the GOP 8 years ago, however, most the good Republicans have bailed the building and now all that are left are the Trump acolytes like Greene, Boebert, Jordan, JD Vance etc etc etc. . Correctly denigrated as "the basket of deplorables by HRC."

As you note, they have a first amendment right to espouse Trumpism. They are not immune from prosecution for seditious conspiracy or acts of incitement to violence, however.

Nikki Hailey and Chris Christie were the only ones with the integrity to call a spade a spade for which they paid a heavy price for having the chutzpah to point out that the emperor has no clothes. And Liz Cheney of course, have you read her book GBH? You should. She is a true Reagan style conservative and patriot, As is W. I disagree with them on many issues but I hold them in high esteem. Mike Pence too. The last few Republicans not coopted by Trumpism,.

He would be a good justice. He wouldn't be accepting millions in bribes or flying his flag upside down. He wouldn't be speculated to have assaulted another women like Brent. Yes, I'm sure you're glad he isn't on the court. He wouldn't fit with the current corruption.

That VP is a strong, brilliant woman. I'm sure that is a threat to you. Biden submitted a border bill shortly after the election and then a bi-partisan bill was passed but blocked after Trump said it would make Biden look good. The lady that co-authored the bill gave the response to the state of the union. She voted against her own bill after Trump intervened.

Presidents have very little to do with the price of gas. We are producing more oil now than when Trump was president. Gas prices have more to do with billions the oil companies are making yet leaving the price high. It also has to do with Russia and Saudi Arabia cutting oil production. Grocery prices might have something to do with 3-4 huge companies controlling the meat processing. Also, inflation had its roots during the pandemic when everything shut down. That led to supply chain issues and guess who was president then? Look at what economy and unemployment is now and what it was when Trump handed it off to Biden. Bush 1 handed a recession to Clinton. Clinton handed a budget surplus to Bush 2. Bush 2 handed an economy near collapse to Obama. Obama handed 72 months straight of job creation to Trump. Trump handed an economy shut down to Biden. See a pattern? If you vote for Trump you will get what you deserve.
