i was thinking the samething but i was kind of waiting till after the strom had passed to say anything. about that to see how much work he might get out of it. and i would like to know what sue would say about it to.

or would she just give up on him and start then looking for a new lover.

The Storm

Well, Nothing new from Steve, so maybe even though they have generator power at home, there is no way to get out on internet.

Steve, when you are able to read this, I hope all is well there, with you Sue and the Daughter, and any damage is minimal.

Maybe it would be good for you and Frank to work together on any damage each of you got from the storm. Could be beneficial in bonding your friendship again.

Let us know how it went with the storm, and everything else.

Cheers, Harry

Steve,
I'm certain you have better things to do than update here. I just hope that you and your family are ok. Good luck in the days ahead.

Hey all - we are all okay here with little damage (lost 1 tree in the backyard - but fell into a neighbors yard so they have to tend to it more than me). But we are hurtin' here in NJ. We keep hearing estimates of 7-10 days for power to come back - but there is carnage here - within just 2 blocks of our home there are at least 8-10 telephone-poles down so that is at least several days of work after the trees that took them down are cleared. But right now, there are still busy highways with no traffic-lights and such.

Yes, we have a generator - but it sucks down 1/2 gallon of gas an hour - and it has a 5.5 gallon tank. Fortunately I have 3 5-gal gas cans - but there's no gas because there's so little power in the area - the gas is in the ground just can't get to it.... Yesterday we drove 45 minutes out to PA to get gas. We're good at 11-12 hrs a day till over the weekend when I'll have to make the trek again.

I actually made it into work and they were distributing Wireless-access cards so I am online only if I'm sitting in my kitchen by the window as some cell-towers are down or degraded.

Frank left the area - he's staying with relatives out of state. We may have to leave if the power/fuel situation don't improve soon. We're keeping at least 1/2 tank of gas in both cars as that's enough to get us far enough away. Or, if need-be - we can siphon fuel from a car for the generator.

Folks - it's scary. I kid you not. It's not a comforting feeling to be having your house and comfort depending on little more than a lawn-mower engine..... We are looking at plunking down the $4-5000 for a permanent, hard-wired, auto-switchover whole-house generator. Whether we need it 1 year from now or 10 years from now, when we do need it next, we'll sit back and say "okay - it WAS worth it". I have guys I work with who have them and they say they don't even know there's a problem going on....

Gotta run and plug the laptop in to charge while the gen is running. Lights out at 11:30pm means just that! Thank god for LED flashlights - just a few batteries gives a lot of light and they last and last.

Wish us luck - I'll try to pop in and out of here but there's not much to be said and to be honest, all of this stress doesn't do much for horniness either..... :(

:(

Glad Your alright.

When We Built Our house in Fla. In 2002 We put one in. Best thing We ever Did. One Year, I think 2004 We had 3 hurricanes in a 6 week period. We were with out power over a month. Plus there were other storms where we lost power. Its well worth the price.

Just a quick reply to Dana - Sue's parents house, surprisingly, never lost power. But several of her siblings who don't have a generator have moved into the house. We may just yet have to join them - but there's no room and while we still have fuel in the generator, it's better/easier to stay put here.

Thanks for the well-wishes. And for Dana - sex and Frank seem to be the furthest things from our minds right now so there's not going to be any big decisions or discussions.

Gotta run.

good to hear that her dad is safe throught all of this.

i somewhat know that thinking about frank would be last on the list right now.

so stay safe and good luck.

i you can keep us posted.

Good to know you and your family have 'come through', and except for power, only minor damage. Thanks be for that!

Also it's good to know that Sue's Dad is in a 'safe' location.

You have been back to work, Good. Is your work place getting back to full operation? How about where Sue works, and the schools?

Here in AZ. we are not getting much detail, except the 'millions' without power, and most of the news releases and video's are of the 'costal' area's.

I remember that you were not affected much by "Irene" when it hit the area because you are "higher up" and not as concerned with flooding.

What part of NJ. are you located, and where is Sue's dad, and Frank in relation to your location? Was Frank's home damaged?

Cheers, Harry
