My first thought runs to... Why do you focus on the ethnicity of her lover? The first steps in solving a problem is (1) recognizing that there IS a problem; and (2) recognizing what the problem IS. I think you've reconciled (1), but with (2), you seem to need some attitude adjustment.

The problem is that your wife is having an affair with SOMEONE--it doesn't matter the color of his skin anymore than it matters how old he is, or how/where he lives, how much money he makes, etc. You ARE correct about the need to confront HER, though. I always believe that the lover only makes as much progress as the wife allows him to.

The hardest questions are for YOU to answer. WHY did she stray? Do you have a good life? Your sex habits--do YOU satisfy her that way? Is this just for the sex, or is she really emotionally involved with her lover? A lot of possibilities, and only ONE of those possibilities might be a desire for interacial sex.
