Glad to hear you’re feeling better, surprised that wasn’t the first thing you went to, right now I’ve got 22 VCR’s, DVD players and led switching unit, play station. Stereo amp, receiver, CD player and tape player, DVD recorder, 60” 3D Samsung and surround sound,,,and that’s only my living room, in the computer room there’s a 46” Samsung and two 32” Samsungs, my two Dell PC’s, surround sound with boosted bass amp, and another DVD/VHS player. I’ve got so many of those power strips it isn’t funny. Seeing it in print I can see how totally ridiculous all that equipment sounds,,,my hub had a seven year intravenous coke habit, one day he was already to buy his standard amount for the weekend (an 8 ball and a gram, that’s 4 1/2 grams, he’d spend 16 hours consuming it all, then the rest of the weekend to recuperate so he could go to work on Monday), I said he was an addict, doesn’t mean he was a dead beat. Anyway, he said if his contact didn’t have anything, he was gonna take the money and buy a VCR so he’d have to to show for it, and that’s what he did,,,never touched coke again, that was in ‘89. However,,,he began buying electronic equipment. One day he noticed he had a collection of 2,300 movies, and VHS machines were being phased out, how would he watch them if his VHS machines died, so he began buying more of them till all he could find was combo machines (we’ve got about fifty machines that aren’t even hooked up, he’s also got 1,300 DVD’s. I’m beginning to think he just changed one addiction for another, but at least he has something to show for it, LOL. He is a very strong willed person, doctors had him on 90 Oxycontins a month for 14 months, he decided to go cold turkey, it took him thirteen days,,,needless to say he has very little respect for all these second and third time “rehab” losers, as far as he’s concerned, YOU have to stop, nobody can do it for you!subhub174014 said:ok......of to a better start today i hope.....first not feeling real spiffy yesterday......second....posting off my reserve through my lap top not ....just different n didn't like it it..........then my regular computer would not come on.......I was pissed.....so waited til mid morning....disconnected everything.....took the damn thing into a shop......they come out and ask me what is wrong....working fine.....now I am really pissed.....turns out I have one of those adapters I am sure most people have....turns a 2 plug in....into a 6 plug in....for all the computer add ons.................computer shop told me pretty common for those to go bad n have no juice to computer
