..... Shelly and I had a chat yesterday and she gave me all signals that she isn’t looking Marquis as more than a help for moving. I do not think she has any interest in him and her willingness is an important thing for me. So I do not think this will go too far..

Sounds like your wife is trying to assure you she "really doesn't have any interest in him." It also sounds like she's moving forward.

Good. Phone conversations matter. If your wife just wanted her "big black moving guy" to meet her with his truck, that would have been a 1 minute conversation (or less).

Hm.... this implies that after Ms. Shelly's moving problem is completed and Marquis returns to pick up his truck (assuming he isn't there to assist with the activity that involves use of his truck), it will be about 5:00 PM,and thus after business hours. Marquis will then be able to give Ms. Shelly a ride home.... or a ride somewhere, maybe to his home to "show her his place."

As I mentioned, it sounds like your wife Ms. Shelly is moving forward.

The moving was completed around 6 yesterday. Marquis left directly from the shop and Shelly went to have dinner with her two of her work colleagues. She came back around 9:30

I asked her how did it all go and she said everything went perfectly. She wasn’t in a mood to share much details so I didn’t bother asking. I checked her phone later and saw a call to him at 8:15 which lasted 5 min.
