I think I saw the topic on DHW on Sunday. All I got was the opening scene where one of the female leads (it wasn't Terri Hatcher...the other one whose name I don't recall) approaches the door to her daughter's BR...the scene then shows an all-too-brief interlude of the daughter and her black bf in an embrace....then shifts to the daughter opening the door to let her mom in ...where the mom soon discovers the BF hiding under the bed. The next scene has the three of them standing at the door to the BF's house where the mother announces to the BF's mother about catching her son in their daughter's BR. The black mother proceeds to give her son a sharp slap on his face and announces their house is up for sale and they plan to leave the neighborhood.
Doesn't sound like an encouraging sign for the IR proponents for this show.

Supposedly Bryce Dallas Howard (of The Village and Gwen Stacy from Spider-Man 3) gets down with a brother in Manderlay. So far, that brings us Krista Allen (or a facsimile) in Emmanuelle In Space, Selma Blair in Storytelling, different anonymous actresses in Black And White, and Miss Howard in Manderlay. There are tons of celebrity lesbian scenes by now, many documented on a website that I'd list-but I'd rather not piss off the forum managers here. You'd think there'd be more IR stuff in movies or softporn by now. I for one am especially interested in softporn like the Allen scene. Something about the bigger budgets than porn...I dunno. Thoughts?

The bedroom scene between black Matthew (Mehcad Brooks) and white Danielle (Joy Lauren) in DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES epidisode THERE'S SOMETHING ABOUT A WAR (1/22/06) took viewers by surprise because there was no previous hint of a connection between Matthew and Danielle. (The actress who plays Danielle's mother Bree, who interrupts the love scene and whose name Neat 'n Petite couldn't remember is Marcia Cross.) USA TODAY reported 5/18/06 that an extensive romance including love scenes with the IR couple were filmed but never broadcast. Evidently DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES viewers are not thought to be IR devotees!
