Yeah, I have read your story at another venue and know it is true as a troop can relate. I was at Ft.Carson when the levy came down in Sept. 64 and my pals went to the Nam ( French Indo-China ) when I was a Kid in the fifties. Army MOS 931.1. I went on evacs to Fitz and served for four or five weeks there in the sixties. Your story is great and way hotter than any of the sleazy times I had along Colfax Ave In the old days. I got two uncles buried at Ft. Logan there in Denver. I'm retired on a pittance now and you brought back so many great old memories. Thank you Rondori.
