CFG, it's not a complaint, but this illustrates the problem a little. To get any sort of narrative onto the picture takes quite a few words, and these have to be big enough to be legible on (say) a mobile phone. Equally I don't like writing text over the lady, hence the work needed to enlarge the free space here. It takes some time to do this. Most pictures are not worth the investment.
I see what you mean Peakmb. BTW, That's a great caption! Where can I find more of your captioned photos? Normally when I caption something, I do so by adding it as a caption at the end or if I have a lot of narritive, I place it on the side. Like the one below. But I do like the way you place your narritives on the photo itself.

The problem in doing it like the above is that many (most?) people will be looking at the caption on a mobile phone or tablet and the screen is not usually enough to show the image nor the text big enough to read comfortably. You can create a text box on the picture but that usually divorces your words from the subject. It never looks like dialog. I have no hesitation in recolouring background walls, removing clutter etc.. just to get my words in, but the key image is the person(s), which is what attracts everyone to open it up in the first place. There are some images I love but just can't find a way to use. Just as there are some that can't be sucessfully transferred to Fakes.
