You can send a request for deletion to an administrator.

I can take care of your forums account. If you use a chat account you will need to go to your chat profile settings under the More tab. If delete account is not there and you see a green stripe near the top of the settings, click on the stripe to load more options.
Let me know if you want to do this.

The green stripe reads: Click here to add security information in order to access more features . THere is nothing about deleting the account.

You have to click the green stripe and follow directions to add more features ... one of them being the ability to delete your account.
