I had a period in my late teens where I had my hair in corn rows, but I find the pictures of me embarrassing now. I see it as a foolish attempt to fit into black culture. I'm not saying I find it attractive now. She was in high school at the time and probably didn't know any better or lacked the judgement she has now. Its one of those things that Im embarrassed about now, but of course most of my bfs in high school were black. Even today most are, but we don't need hotel rooms anymore. Uh no, Bo had cornrows, a specific type of braided hairstyle, but cornrows nonetheless.
I don't mind white chicks getting cornrows if they're on vacation in the Caribbean or Bahamas, but on the regular ( unless they're athletes - female b-ballers), it's an odd look.
