Often it’s white men who are seen as the most racist but I’m gonna talk about white women and the tears they will shed to de-rail any talk of racism, particularly their own racism. It is part of a more general pattern of white people making their feelings matter more than the truth and in a way white womens tears are effectively a ‘call to arms’ to noble white men to put some ‘uppity Negro’ in his place.
This is usually how it plays out.
White woman says something racist.
Black person points it out.
The white woman says she is not racist and starts crying (For added effect the white woman usually runs out of the room)
1. Other whites, particularly white men, come to the aid and comfort not of the wronged black person but of the racist white woman!
2. The black person (the wronged party) is made to seem like the mean one in the eyes of whites.
3. The white woman continues to believe she is not racist.
