My wife is very much into filming herself having sex. She typically does this by trying to prop up her phone and the result is almost always subpar in terms of angle, framing, lighting, etc. She likes watching the videos later while she masterbates, but also likes to send them to her boyfriend as she typically performs acts during the video based on his requests.

That being said, with Christmas coming up, I've been shopping for a better solution. I've come across cameras with auto tilt/pan/zoom that can identify the subject and frame things up automatically. There are tons of options, and I'm having trouble really narrowing it down. Ideally I'd like to have at least 2 camera angles running simultaneously. Recording to a central point that makes it super easy to switch back and forth between them in a post-editing process to make a final video. I also want something that uses a lens that doesn't distort the image - many security style cameras have a fish eye that really stretches things out as they near the edge of the frame. I want a more processional "flat" effect. It has to be super easy to kick off - my wife is not very tech savvy and gets frustrated easily - and ideally very easy to break down and store.

Anyone ever use anything like this themselves and have recommendations?

Where do you live? I'm sure someone will gladly film for you.

Yeah just get the boyfriend as camera man and then switch out so he fucks her and you film.

If she has an iPhone & Apple Watch, get a tripod for the phone. She can set up starting the video with a tap on her watch. Not sure about a second cam.

Good suggestion. However when he visits he wants me totally encased in bondage so that I cannot see, speak, or move. He likes knowing that he is in total control and can do whatever he wants to my wife with me unable to do anything but listen. They also enjoy using my cock as a toy to add to her desire to take multiple cocks at the same time.

She also enjoys making videos for him to watch.

is this the co worker she'd fuck in the car before?

There's lots more people that are tech savvy enough to offer better advice than I can, but these are my basic ideas:

I think you would want a tripod for each angle you want to record, and keep in mind these angles will be static (won't change or move) unless the camera has tilt/pan/focus/zoom functions built-in.
Lighting may be a big factor on how well the camera can record details in low (or lower) light conditions. You may need to experiment a bit to determine if you need supplemental lighting and/or where to place it.

Now... which kind of cameras to use? The choices are almost endless, as is pricing, of course.
I know cell phones of today can do fantastic things, but my personal opinion is you would get the best results from a digital camcorder.
Either way, try to get one that best matches what you want to do based on its' features. One type may be better than another for the recording/editing you plan to do, as an example.

This also brings up the subject of audio, and that's another ball of wax...
A lot of cameras have built-in microphones, but they can be very limited in what they pick up. Of course, distance away from source is the biggest factor, and you may need to consider remote microphone placement for best results. Again, it may require some experimentation to find out what works best.
Again, strictly my opinion, but this is where cell phones suffer. Their mics are generally very good when it's very close to the subject, but a distance of just a couple of feet can make a big difference. They're also very sensitive to movement, and will produce that loud scratching noise if they are moved while recording.

Depends on how "professional" you want them to look. If you have good lighting then a simple action cam will do the trick. I have an Akaso Brave 4 that records in 4k 20mp that you can get off of Amazon for under $70 that does great IF you have good lighting. It even comes with a little remote for starting recording.

If you don't have good lighting then you will want a small camcorder with a built-in or external light. If you go this route I recommend using a light defuser to take the bright glare away.

Thanks everyone. I've been doing some research and found a couple of options.

Something like the OBSBOT Tail Air: https://amzn.to/3ZlhL1v
The plus is that it has some great features in terms of smart tracking, zoom, and can be controlled (and previewed) from a phone. The downside, from what I understand, is that it can't record directly to the iPhone's memory but rather an internal microSD or stream. For my wife, who is very non-technical, I think she would prefer the videos save to her phone so that she can easily access them and share them.

I'm leaning towards something like the DJI Osmo: https://amzn.to/3B0fbou
This will allow her to setup her own phone (so the videos all record to her device) but provides some smart features like subject tracking, pan/tilt. I haven't confirmed but I'm hoping it can also do some intelligent zoom as well. Combined with a tripod this will give her a lot more flexibility in terms of setting up the angle she wants. Right now she just sort of props the phone up and most of the time it barely captures the action.
