story index displays not complete

dear administrator,

there is a problem with stories being displayed on the index page... assuming you search for blackdemons stories.. it lists 159 stories but displays only 100.. there is no link or another page to go to the remaining 59 stories... this is the case for search as well.. as only 100 hits are displayed... please look into this and provide a solution... the sooner, the better...
