As many of you know (and for those who don't), I have had my first book published. In negotiations with my publisher, we have reached an agreement that will see 10% of all hardcover sales of my book go to the ongoing relief efforts to help the city of New Orleans as well as the entire Gulf Coast region. Our goal is to sell 10,000 copies through the publisher's website and help keep the effort to rebuild this hurricane ravaged party of the country in the national focus. For those of you who enjoy reading, it would make a nice addition to your collection and you would be doing a great and positive thing for these people who could STILL really use the help.
