My MIL can only be described as a witch. She looks like a witch, and is generally a pretty nasty human. Up until recently I've viewed her as such as just avoided contact whenever possible - being only moderately pleasant. I know she cucked her ex-husband (my father in law) for years. Their first child is not even his (it is common knowledge in the family). She was abusive, manipulative, and generally a horrible person. In recent years she's mellowed out quite a bit - now that the kids are older, her husband divorced her and moved on, she no longer has the control that she once abused over everyone's lives.
