Is it me or is IR clubs in NYC few and far between? There was a place in Brooklyn called the Fetish Warehouse that at one time ran an interracial night. That tanked and I don't think they do it anymore. They're now the Hellfire Club and are looking for a new locale. I think I stand a better chance going to >gulp< church to hook up. (Which is wrong and I don't suggest it.)

If you just want to hang out with black folks there's a million and one hip-hop clubs or clubs that run hip-hop nights like Avalon on Fridays, China Club on Saturdays, Inferno & Discotech @ Henrietta Hudson, DJ's that do gigs @ Lotus and APT... Alibi on MacDougal... Asylum, Speeed, I dunno there's quite a few just gotta get there on the right night.

I >think< what everyone is getting at is some kind of swing club or at the very least some laid back joint where anything goes. I'm not familiar with any place like that.
