how do u join the files ...i thought i tried to extract it and it says file corrupt

I use 7Zip to un-rar the folders. Most will go back together automatically. In the case where they were split and compressed a piece at a time you will need a joiner and spliter program, there are several out there free. hi animal, i think you might be missing the proper video #2.....

i have winzip that i use to extract and hjsplit to join files....


i first double click on the icon to extarct the file (or extraxt it to the specified folder) and when i do it stops part way saying : You need to have the following volume to continue extraction --- does that mean part2 is missing?

is that what you do: extract each one first to a folder then join the files?

or when you extract each file and put in the folder you cant join the files into one?

You can put all files in a folder and select all then tell 7zip to extract here when you right click. I select all in the same place that I've downloaded to. I will make a new folder if there are lots of picture or small files. Most vids that were zipped and broken in to pieces by the zip program will put it back together when un-zipped. Vids that were broken into pieces by a splitter must be rejoined by a joiner.

Sometimes the file gets corrupted in the download. I've gone back re downloaded the bad section. Sometimes that doesn't help either.

Could it be possible to have scrren caps of the video so that we can see if it is worth downloading for us?
