How to open xxx.avi.001 files?

I have 3 files of a same scene. xxx.avi.001, xxx.avi.002 and xxx.avi.003 and I'd like to know how I can get the three files opened and joined together to make it one continuous file? Anybody know? All help is appreciated. :)

Use a program called HJ Split. Have the three files in same folder and select the first file to start the process. It will find the rest of them automatically.

Open a command prompt, change directory to where the files are and type
copy /b xxx.avi.001 + xxx.avi.002 + xxx.avi.003 xxx.avi
