This possibly shows up a shortcoming inside my archiving process... but I made a new 48kHz/24bit recording and right after processing the audio to my liking made a new DVD-audio version. I also used the processed file to generate a 44. 1kHz/16bit CD version.
On my hard hard disks I've got the hi-res variation as videoTS/audioTS folders and also the CD version as individual FLACS. I've also got intact copies with the original raw, unprocessed. wav files.
Unfortunately one of the FLACs seems to have become corrupted. Is there a strategy for getting clean audio on the DVD-A folders (where it appears to be saved as. AOB files) intended for resampling and dithering to create a new 44. 1/16 version or am I resigned to reprocessing your raw files from scuff?
FWIW I now work the test function about my FLACs before getting rid of the wavs...searched on internet and I got dvd audio extractor, but I want to know if I can get free one. Any pointers would be much appreciated.
