Well there's a thing - it's back on this post...

So how come it appears on some and not others?

You have 10 minutes to edit any posts that you make. After that, only moderators can edit or delete messages.

You have 2 minutes to edit your post without the [Edited by xxx] message appearing at the bottom of the edited post.

You have 5 minutes to edit the title of any new thread you make.
