Well I see my favorite basketball coach has stepped down in Texas Mr Bob Knight. I see his son is taking over with his first game tonight. Always admired this man he was a hell of a coach temper or not he told it how it was.

nobody can take away his coaching/teaching abilities and achievements..most wins and 3 titles....but lets face facts...no matter how many good things he has done for people, etc. and its well documented how well beloved he is by many (ex players, friends, etc), but his resume is filled with so many public tirades and classless acts...he is a bully and disrespectful to many. I mean an occasional f-bomb dont bother me none, but come on now....im sure he is the reason the beep button was invented. overall he leaves a bad taste in my mouth, and i surely wont miss him. at least his players dont get into trouble..only player of his i remember have any legal prob is Isiah an his sex harrassment suit.

the NCAA tourney will be its usually exciting thing. anybody can beat anybody...but there do seem to be at least 4 elite type teams to beat (unc, ucla, memphis, kansas) and i'm sure few others like duke, etc.

nba playoffs will be very competitive. the east still doesnt have as many strong teams as west, but it is very competitive nevertheless and its winner could win the title easily. interesting to see how Gasal integrates with Kobe ...they stole that guy who can be hell of player. not sure how far it puts the lakers up there come playoff time but when you have the best player on the court (ok labron fans you can argue him with no prob)...spurs if healthy will be the best team but they are struggling big time right now with injuries...reg season is waste for them at this point. Celtics, Detroit and labron should slug it out for the finals...look out for Orlando as sleeper.

Not much of a College Basketball fan. I like the NBA more. I'm a heat fan. Though, our record sucks right now, I'm always going to stick with them and we're guaranteed at least a top 10 pick next year.

I hear this is going to be a deep draft class and it's better for the heat to stay under the cap, so don't trade players, so they can make moves during the off season.

Orlando is not a sleeper. They have always done what they are doing now. That is start off GREAT, finish the season decent. It's like they get to cocky during the opening months of the season, then relax and put it on. I will have to say, they may make it to the second round. That's what I'm predicting. But, if anyone is sleepin, it has to be Tornoto. Look out for them bad boys.

My prediction for the Finals Is Det/Cavs/boston v. Spurs/Mavs

I'm also a Laker Fan. Didn't like them with Shaq, but Love them without 'em since. With the Pau Gasol move, they may just make it to that promise land. That's if he performs as expected. We all know Bynum Will.:D

kansas and memphis will get knocked out early duke will be in the top eight ucla all he way. Orlando is going to sneak in and make it tough.

Black young we'll see how close you are on the spurs and mavs I don't think they will make it to the final but who knows things can change in a hurry.

I actually want the lakers to win, so I hope they go to the finals.

I don't think the suns are going to the finals, No defense. They got spanked by the worse teams in the league.

Spurs starting to look like they are on a decline, but who knows? they turn it up playoff time.

I'm not sure about the mavs at this point. They haven't played great basketball so I give them a chance. UT Jazz aren't even in the p.o. season run. Althought, they are over .500, last time I check, they were still out of the p.o. season contender(the west is tooooo deeeeep)

Any whoo, I still pick one of those two teams to win. Although, I rather see the lakers.

Heat fan..well take solice bro..im stuck being a knicks fan...ok yes i have admitted that now publicly.....deep draft or not...we sexually harrass more than we win games. plus i live in houston and the rockets are an underachieving mess.
I'm not a huge fan of either, but a kobe labron final would be something.

Big game tonight Rutgers vs. Tennesee woman (Tenn has knocked RU out of tourney last 3 years..not to mention finals last year) RU just beat #1 Uconn last week.
Also, Rutgers (normally Scarlett) will be wearing Pink unis tonight to benefit Cancer

I wonder if Imus will be watching the "natty haired hoes" go at it tonight?

Hey pooch stringer came from Iowa she was a good coach now bluder that replaced her has got 500 wins another one that was trained by stringer. I got to go with Rutgers love stringer good person Imus I doubt if he will even peak at the game the dumb shit hell he's from Texas I bet you like him.

imus is from Texas? yea i know stringer (a HOF coach) started at Iowa. looks like Candace Parker..Tenn star player is hurting..so that should help...I rather them lose this one and beat Tenn in the tourney but i take whatevr i can get as a Rutgers alum.

i personally think Suns made great move (as did the HEAT) at least for this years playoff run getting shaq...since they have a healthy Grant hill, they can make up for the Matrix...but Shaq clogging the middle , blocking some shots, rebounding...in the playoffs when the game does slow down some.....well if he gets healthy and is in shape he will get alot of easy garbage baskets from Nash and Stoudemire....Hell he can guard Duncan now, so Stoudemire stays out of foul trouble. so what if shaq wont be on fast break...the run and gun Lakers with Magic and Kareem do pretty good..not like Kareem was finishing fast breaks. if only i was a suns fan. all i can do is pray for ping pong balls to go NY way so we can get Beasely from K-state ...the only real #1 worthy pic for nba player coming out of college (i'm assuming he is leaving after 1 year) this year.

A little something for basketball season. SI is showing off the team dancers.

great pics norm I like the first one the best just think you could mount a hoop four foot off the floor at home and stick your woman in the basket like that and tie her legs back and there it is looking you right in the eye.

Being a Frenchman myself, I would mount that hoop a little higher and 69 while standing.
Holy shit a frenchman aren't you guys suppose to have the long tounges!

look out for the Rockets...nobody thinks they are a real team for playoffs...under the radar as i like it...12 in row right now and hotter than hell...if healthy there no team they cant beat, then again they could easily lose first round..thats how tough and close the western conference is. whoever comes out of the east has a big advantage in finals since they will have such an easier time getting there, and may have to play only 1 real tough series.
