Hi everyone,

I have a question. I apologize if it seems stupid. I've been seeing a black guy recently and when he comes in my mouth it kinda burns a little. the "burning" is the acidic qualities in the semen, some men may produce semen containing more of an acidic quality than others. most likely due to diet.

Semen is alkaline - and I assume all semen is alkaline perhaps some more than others but alkaline nevertheless.

The vagina and womb is acidic hence why semen has such little time to live before finding the egg, fighting off competitive sperm and doing its potential job!

As to this problem a std would not create initial immediacy of burning in the receiver just a new potential host.

As someone mentioned semen, being salty, is alkaline--however alkaline substances can burn (e.g. cleaning products). That being said, it does sound like an allergy, and by your surprised reaction, it could be an allergy specific to him, possibly on account of diet, etc.

What it means is that his acid PH of his sperm is totally different than yours as I can answer this from being a Dr.

That is one of the things that makes oral fun for me..even the same guy, including my hubby, willl taste differently on different days and it have a different texture to boot.
