Did anyone hear what she died from?Maybe the first white porn star to do IR porn.RIP Marilyn
 
I haven't or read about why she died. I know it was young (I guess that age is considered young). She wasn't much older than me, and I'm 55.

We loved Behind the Green Door. Great flick.

I'm sadened to hear about her passing. I was a fan of hers ever since I saw her in "Behind the Green Door. I think some folks will label her a sinner but shes still a human being and hopefully shes in heaven now.

Yes it is sad that she has passed, 'Behind the Green Door' was the very 1st 'mainstream' big budget porn movie I ever saw. I fell madly in love with that beautiful, enthusiastic young blonde. Sad indeed that she is gone, but as I think about her and her work, a smile replaces the frown, I'll remember her that way, making me smile.
 
We have some classic porn movies, hers among them and I agree she is one of the better stars.. She even sang in one porn movie.. She was advertising on TV for Ivory dish soap when the Ivory people found she starred in Green Door...They fired her of course so she did porn full time after that..

It took me so long to finally see the film,,,,,,,,Behind the Green Door. I didnt see it til the late 80s. But it was one of the best, she had the look of the girl next door. I met her once, in Las Vegas, just for a few minutes. She seemed so nice and down to earth. Rest in peace Marilyn

I think the 2 movies, i ever saw that left the most effect on me..... 1. Behind the Green Door...with Marilyn Chambers. And a close number 2. Mandingo..... ...Marilyn looks so much like the girl next door....It was my introduction, to the interracial life style.... You have to remember, When Marilyn made that film,,,,,,,, wasnt a lot of support for interracial films,... She is a true trail blazer . Marilyn we will miss you

RIP Marilyn, I saw behind the green door not long after it first cam out. She got my addiction to interracial started and I tried to see every Marilyn Chambers movie I could. I'll miss her greatly.
 
I met Marilyn in the early 80's. She was at a booth at a Harley convention. She was as sweet & as beautiful as can be to everyone. A true legend.
 
I am very interested in answer to this. I saw her live at a club near my first apartment when I first got our of Navy. She was amazing and unbelievably pretty. She got pretty extreme in a lot of ways. Sure hope she did not die from something in the business. And when I say extreme I mean more than just taking JohnnyKeyes' BBC.

Marilyn married Chuck Traynor after Linda Lovelace divorced him. Linda claimed he constantly abused her. This was also the case with Marilyn and she too ended up divorcing him. May both Marilyn and Linda rest in peace.......
